Jessica then and now
Chapter 9
1990's
I woke up to a sharp, throbbing pain that surged through my body, instantly alerting me to my new reality. Opening my eyes, I found myself in my hospital room again, but something was off. My legs were in long leg casts, suspended in the air by a system of pulleys attached to the bed. Panic gripped me momentarily as I tried to make sense of the situation.
"Where am I?" My voice sounded hoarse, unfamiliar to my ears in this moment of confusion. Looking around, I recognized the familiar surroundings of my hospital room, yet everything felt surreal, like a dream I couldn't shake off.
Memories flooded back, the fall, the accident, and the fractures that changed the course of my life. But now, here I was, back in time, the pain in my legs was real, a stark reminder of the consequences of tampering with time travel. As I lay there, grappling with the mix of relief and apprehension, a surge of determination coursed through me. This was my chance, my latest opportunity to rewrite history, to reclaim what was lost.
Despite the pain, despite the uncertainty, I knew deep down that I had to do this. "I can do this," I whispered to myself. To my surprise, Emily walked into the room, her broken right arm in a long cast and sitting in a sling, a look of concern on her face.
"Jessica, you have to stop trying back and forth to time travel" she exclaimed, her voice urgent as she approached my bed. I turned to her, my heart racing with anticipation. "Am I paralyzed this time?" I blurted out, the fear evident in my voice.
Emily shook her head gently, her eyes conveying reassurance. "No, but your legs are badly broken," she replied, her tone soothing yet matter-of-fact. "You need to rest and let the doctors take care of you. No time travelling until your legs heal "
Her words sank in, a wave of relief washing over me despite the severity of my injuries. "Thank goodness," I whispered, grateful for the clarity amid the confusion of the situation.
As Emily helped adjust my position on the bed, I couldn't help but feel a surge of love and appreciation for my best friend.
"Emily," I began, my voice filled with concern as I glanced at her broken arm, "what happened to your arm?"
She sighed softly, a hint of weariness in her eyes. "You don't remember obviously what you did to me... then just a clumsy accident," my poor friend, I touch her broken arm, she looks so sweet with that sling.
"Stop... I'll be fine; it's nothing compared to what you're going through with your shattered long legs."
I nodded, grateful for her attempt to lighten the mood. "I hope you're not in too much pain," I said, genuine worry in my tone.
"It's manageable," she reassured me, patting my hand gently. "But enough about me. How are you feeling?"
I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts amidst the whirlwind of emotions. "I'm sore, but I think I'll be okay, plus being in pain means sensation in my legs, no paralysis" I replied, trying to sound more optimistic than I felt.
"I haven't seen Liam since we came back from the future," I said.
"He's been busy with his research and trying to figure out what went wrong with your latest time travel."
I nodded, understanding the gravity of our situation. "Do you think he'll be able to fix it? Or should I stay here?"
"I hope so. Liam is determined and resourceful. If anyone can figure it out, it's him."
"I miss him," I admitted, surprised by the depth of my feelings. "I didn't realize how much until now."
Emily gave me a sympathetic smile. "It's natural to feel that way, especially when you're going through a difficult time. Keep in mind that in this version of your past I'm married with Liam"
"Wow really, I just wish both of you lots of happiness."
"Thank you Jess, I'm sure he will visit you soon," Emily suggested, trying to offer comfort. "In the meantime, focus on your recovery. We'll get through this together." Her words were reassuring, and I felt a sense of determination wash over me. I was so happy for her.
Emily suddenly climbed onto the bed with me, surprising me as her presence was reassuring and conflicting. I couldn't help but feel a surge of sexual desire as her closeness and warmth felt so intoxicating. It was as if she knew what I was feeling and wanted to give me comfort. Her soft body pressing against mine as she kissed me in a passionate and erotic way.
Then she climbed over my broken right leg, she sensually rubbed herself against the rough surface of my cast. I moaned in pain... our bodies were close... our breath shallow. The hand portion of her cast roamed all over my body, exploring the curves of my breasts as I let out whispers and sighs that signalled my sexual pleasure.
The tension and pressure against my cast and broken leg continued to build, the passion rising to a feverish pitch. She was on top of me, her body moving over mine in rhythmic motion as I felt her breath become heated and her movements more intense. She slid her broken arm, her hard cast between my legs, fingers sliding inside of me.
Our bodies became a tangle as we explored each other's bodies, finding a connection that transcended time travel and marriage. Broken limbs were a maze of pleasure, our touches and moves becoming more frantic as we approached the brink of climax. The intensity of the moment was overwhelming, and we held on to each other tightly as we reached our orgasm loudly.
Weeks later I set out to visit my two best friends... husband and wife...Liam and Emily. I felt so bad that we had sex. The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over everything, lifting my spirits despite facing what I had done.
Don't get me wrong, I loved being on crutches and in a leg cast but the discomfort of my injuries, with two long leg walking casts supporting my broken legs and crutches aiding my steps, was a very different experience. As I arrived at Liam and Emily's place, I couldn't help but marvel at the familiar surroundings that now look different through the lens of my new leap in the back. The ramp for my old wheelchair was still there.
I felt a surge of anticipation mingled with worries not knowing how much she shared with Liam. With my two long leg casts and crutches in hand, I carefully got myself out of the taxi, making sure to keep my balance despite the added weight and bulk of the casts. The rubber heels of my casts thumped against the pavement as I took my first steps, a familiar rhythm that echoed my determination to push forward. With each step, I could feel the support of the crutches swinging both long casts at the same time, allowing me to move with a surprising amount of grace and control.
Liam and Emily were waiting at the doorstep, to my surprise I was shocked to see...
Conclusion to come
